We have been humbled and grateful for the ways you have encouraged us in prayer, words of encouragement, and with your generous gifts. We know that our goal of raising $350,000 feels huge—but we wholeheartedly believe that the Lord is at work in the formation of Tending Place, and in faith, trust that by His help and grace, we will eventually hit our goal. Thank you for your generous show of support as we take these wild steps in faith. You are on the journey with us, and we are grateful for your company.

Next Steps:

While our fundraising campaign continues, we are continuing to look for a physical space for Tending Place to call home. Opening the doors to Tending Place will allow us to serve the community through our unique program offerings and help us continue to meet our financial goals.

How You Can Join Us:

This Friday, we are scheduled to tour another possible site under consideration as a home for Tending Place. Please pray for us as we consider our options. Prayer specifically for us to have a good sense of discernment as wisdom as we review real estate options and have conversations with financial advisors, real estate brokers, and landlords. Pray too that we would remain faithful to the vision that the Lord has given us and at the same time, be open to any compromises thta need to be made for the sake of launching this ministry well. We recognize that sometimes, God leads in directions that surprise, and we want to be open and wise about identifying where and how God may be leading. Pray too that the Lord would continue to bring along donors and supporters who have a shared passion for this vision and who want to joyfully partner with us for the sake of the community and the body of Christ. Pray also that we would be sustained in this work as we continue our other ministries and care for our families, friendships, and communities.

On giving Tuesday, the three of us met for a Christmas brunch and a bit of prayer and reflection time over the work of Tending Place. While we don’t yet have a physical space to call home, we are hard at work behind the scenes preparing to welcome you in. Every time we talk about you and the space we want to make for you, we are reminded of how deeply God loves His people, and that reminder is fuel to our passion for bringing Tending Place into its fullest form.

We continue to pray for YOU as you navigate all that the Lord is calling you to this season. May your cup overflow, friends. And may you be stirred by the Holy invitations of Jesus for you this season.
