Setting a long table and tending hearts in a creative and sacred environment is the heartbeat of Tending Place.
We cultivate a nurturing space where soul care, creativity, and community thrive. Through intentional workshops, transformative retreats, creative reflection, community meals, and other intentional community care experiences, we inspire individuals to grow, create, and connect in a supportive and sacred environment.

Tending Place is a nonprofit gathering house* that cultivates sacred space for Christians seeking deeper spiritual formation, personal soul care, and creative communion with God.
Through beauty, art, scripture, and ancient Christian practices, we invite believers to slow down and tend their inner life with Christ.
Tending Place’s Calendar of events, (provided quarterly) includes:
Daily morning prayer & weekly community lunch
Weekly prompts for encountering God through Scripture and art
Formational gatherings and seasonal liturgies
Art-as-prayer workshops and open art studio space
Quiet spiritual retreat days (“Tending Days”)
Personal, private retreat space (by reservation)
